Dando seguimento à excelente carreira que os Y.LoL estão a ter nesta edição da LPLOL, a equipa vai agora participar no 4Gamers League of Legends Masters que vai decorrer no pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar a partir das 10h00 de Sábado. 4 equipas vão-se enfrentar, as 3 melhores Portuguesas e 1 Espanhola, na tentativa de descobrirem quem vai sair por cima. Não percas!

Embora tenhamos conseguido boas prestações, sobretudo no jogo contra os K1ck que esteve quase a decidir-se a nosso favor, os Why eSports terminam o evento na quarta posição, mas a experiência adquirida foi enorme. Segue-se agora a LPLOL e a luta por um lugar nos playoffs.

Após um torneio de qualificação com altos e baixos, a nossa equipa de League of Legends conseguiu obter um lugar na primeira divisão da competição máxima de LoL em Portugal, a LPLOL que inicia amanhã a sua terceira temporada. Sem qualquer tipo de pressão devido à sua posição de underdogs, os Y.LoL esperam sobretudo ter uma boa oportunidade de crescerem como equipa junto dos melhores jogadores do panorama nacional.

Após um longo período de competição que durou vários meses e começou em Maio de 2015, chegou ao fim a fase de grupos da LPLOL, a liga Portuguesa de LoL com os Y.LoL a terminarem na 8ª posição entre as 10 melhores equipas nacionais de League of Legends.

Após ter obtido o passaporte para a LPLOL, a liga Portuguesa de LoL que arranca no mês de Maio com 10 equipas, os  Y.LoL estão a preparar-se para aquela que será certamente a mais dura competição de League of Legends no nosso País. Tendo sido a última equipa a qualificar-se para a fase principal do torneio jogando com o nome 2darmy no segundo e último qualificador, eis a constituição da equipa completa dos Why eSports que vai defender as nossas cores nesta liga:

On our first LAN appearance as a team with this lineup, the Why eSports League of Legends players got a place on the podium of the Lisboa Games Week Asus RoG League of Legends tournament, only losing a close match (1-2 was the score) to K1ck.eu in the semi finals. The 3rd/4th place decider was played against eG and Y.lol managed to achieve a 2-1 victory and grab that coveted 3rd place.

After some hard practicing and as a result of the good environment that we have in our team, the Y.LoL formation has now seen those efforts pay off as they have reached the Challenger Tier in League of Legends! As you all know only some of the LoL teams reach this tier and many don’t even come close so we have to congratulate everybody for this deed.

Still going through a good moment, the Y eSports League of Legends team will be playing on September the 29th the LoL EU West Go4LoL August Finals.

Our League of Legends renovated roster has engaged in a series of victories, winning ESL Nightcups, GoPT4LoL finals and even an EU West Go4LoL Cup. Things are looking good as the players are working as a team and the results always show up, when this happens. In fact and in just a few days, Y.eSports has won the LoL 5on5 Nightcup #256, the LoL GoPT4LoL 5on5 #131, the LoL GoPT4LoL 5on5 Julho and the LoL EU West Go4LoL Cup #205, in what we can definitely call a good run.

Another League of Legends online tournament was disputed this weekend and the  Y.lol team entered the competition. Starting in the round of 128, we got to the final after defeating many opponents, some tougher than others. Playing with a jungler stand-in and Xico instead of Death, things went as well as we could expect them to run, with our organization grabbing one more podium.

Next stop is the Asus RoG qualifiers, a tournament that we are all hoping to run as well as these last performances in several online competitions.

Last night the Y players attended the ESL Nightcup #235 and once again got away with the first place medal after beating all of the opponents on the way to the final against 5Randoms. In a hard game things seemed to be going the wrong way but a late team fight that our team won, followed by a rush into our opponent’s nexus, set the wheels in motion for another triumph in yet another ESL Nightcup.
